Ready to get down and dirty this fall? The Murieta Equestrian Center is hosting the Rugged Maniac 5K Mud Run on October 19, and you don’t want to miss it! The race is a combination of festival and mud run that everyone will enjoy. Rugged Maniac is unlike any other race out there: it is a mud run and festival all in one! The fun begins at 8:30 a.m. with a DJ on the main stage, lots of freebies, interactive games, food, and beer. The party lasts all day, and admission is free! Festival goers will have a blast living it up and watching their adventurous companions run the course.
The real fun, though, happens out on the course. The run is comprised of 3 miles and more than 20 obstacles. And the best part is, you don’t have to get up early to be at the starting line. Racers can choose a time slot, any time during the day, that best suits their schedule.
The Murieta Equestrian Center offers a limited number of RV and dry camping spots for those who wish to stay on site. Camping on the grounds truly is the best way to enjoy the Rugged Maniac. You can eat, drink, party, and run all day, and have a cozy place to crash when you’re done.
